 As the Barista Team Leader, you will supervise, motivate, and support café team members while providing direct supervision, coaching, and mentoring to individuals participating in vocational assessments, work experiences and employment services at ETCH (Elmira Tea & Coffee House).

• Promote understanding of ETCH’s role as a social enterprise that supports vocational services, employment opportunities, and community integration for individuals served by Capabilities.
• Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, promptly, and in alignment with organizational expectations.
• Oversee shift operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, point-of-sale processes, inventory control, and daily workflow.

Education & Experience: Associates Degree in Human Services required and previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment preferred. Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in food service, hospitality or workforce development preferred.

Additional Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Candidate also must complete and pass all required background checks. Must be able to move up to 50 lbs.

 Pay Range: $19.00 - $19.75
